Forest School
Children in EYFS go to Forest School every week, while children in KS1/2 attend weekly for half of each term.
This is to ensure that each child experiences each season on the site and links their outdoor learning to each termly Big Question.
Forest School takes place in all weather, so please send children dressed appropriately, especially as the weather starts to get wetter and colder and the site itself becomes muddier.
Children will need to bring;
- Wellies (named) or a spare pair of shoes
- Waterproof coat
- Waterproof trousers, if you have them
- A change of clothes in case they get wet/muddy
- Extra socks
- Long-sleeved t-shirts and trousers will also stop children from getting scratched and stung by nettles.
