Pupil Premium is additional funding allocated by the Government to schools to support children who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years. Schools also receive funding for children who have been looked after, children who have been adopted from care or who have left care under a Special Guardianship or Residence Order, asylum seekers and children of service personnel.
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding and how it is being used.
