Introducing Sara Zumbuhl

I am a trained Counsellor and my objective is to encourage all of us (staff and children) to become better listeners which will lead to increased empathy and understanding of other people's lives and experiences. Larkrise is a happy and diverse school and I am keen to find ways to optimise the positive experiences that children have whilst opening the door to new ones!

I am here to listen to worries and concerns using an Integrative approach; I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic play approaches, Solution focussed therapy and Motivational Interviewing amongst other therapeutic approaches.

I also offer support to families so that we can together look at any barriers to children’s learning.
