We are very lucky to have such a very supportive community at Larkrise. In addition to being part of the 'Friends of Larkrise', supporting school events throughout the year, many parents, carers and members of the wider community volunteer their time, skills and enthusiasm with us on a regular basis. They enhance what we offer at Larkrise by running weekly clubs, hearing children read, giving presentations in class as part of lessons or coming along on school trips. We often rely on this participation to enable events to run and are so grateful for it.
When adult volunteers support on an ad hoc basis, such as attending a school trip, we ask them to read and follow the 'Adult Helper Guidelines' linked below.
In order to volunteer regularly with children, we must ask adults to make a DBS application, provide a reference (which could include a member of Larkrise staff) and complete some basic safeguarding training. If you are interested in regular volunteering, please use the form below to make contact with us and our Volunteer Lead will be in touch.
Please use this form to share as much information as you are able to. It is useful to know how you are connected to the school and where you are interested in volunteering, as well as any relevant experience you have. We look forward to hearing from you!
