As a school we have been asked by Nadine Matough, who is the Liveable Towns and Cities Coordinator for Oxfordshire with Sustrans (the charity that makes it easier for people to walk and cycle), to participate in focus groups involving parents who commute to school by car – either regularly or occasionally.
The research is being carried out on behalf of CoSHAT or the Coalition for Healthy Streets and Active Travel to gain some data across both primary and secondary schools in both urban and rural settings. Parent views on travel to school will help contribute to better transport policies within Oxfordshire.
The recorded online focus group will consist of 4 questions and be run by Nadine Matough and Clare Dowling (Delivery Coordinator for Sustrans South) on the Tuesday 2nd November 8-9pm
An agreement to participate, further information on why the research is being carried out and the online Microsoft Teams meeting shall be sent to you directly once you have decided you would like to participate. You should not require a Microsoft Teams login to take part, and all focus group responses will be anonymised.
If you are interested please contact Nadine Matough at firstname.lastname@example.org directly. Even if you cannot attend the date and time of the focus group please get in touch as Nadine will send out the questions in a written format after the focus group has been carried out to gain your views.
Thank you for your cooperation,
